RSVP for our first PA speaker of the year, Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot of Harvard University. As parents and teachers we invest enormously in helping our kids grow up. But in the process we too are always learning, and especially so from our children. Our first PA speaker of the year, MacArthur prize winning sociologist Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot, will provide a poignant counterpoint to much of the parental development literature by focusing on the lessons our children can teach us in life, and especially so as they emerge as young adults. This is a chance to think about how our children guide our worldviews, and create an educational process for all of us. Her recent book, “Growing Each Other Up: When Our Children become Our Teachers,” is available thru the PA now when you RSVP and will also be for sale at the event.
RSVPs to this event are highly encouraged. Please click here to register. Guests must have their Lab or University IDs and lanyards, or will have to register with security upon arrival.
