ESH/LS* Costume Donation Drive and Swap October 17-20

Find your costumes a new home during the ESH/LS Costume Donation Drive and Swap! Halloween costumes add 12,500 tons of waste to landfills every year. At the same time, they are a luxury many children in our broader community have to forego.

Donate any wearable costumes to collection boxes in the LS lobby Monday through Wednesday, October 17-19. Parents will then have two opportunities to look for a new Trick or Treat outfit:

  • Wednesday October 19 from 12:30-3:30 pm in the ESH Little Lobby, and
  • Thursday, October 20 from 7:30-8:15 am in the ESH Main Lobby

Lower School children are welcome to come to ESH (after dismissal or before school) and “shop” with their parent or guardian. This is not a ticket-based swap; give what you can and pick out a new costume if you like.

*All Schools are welcome to participate in the Costume Drive!  Any remaining costumes will go to Cornerstone Community Outreach, a nonprofit dedicated to homeless families. CCO is planning a “Fall Frenzy” party to give children the opportunity to dress up in costume. So far, they have less than 20% of the costumes needed to be able to give one to each child. Together, we can help them achieve that goal!
