New Family Orientation

August 31, 9:45 – 10:45 a.m., Blaine S201 

New families are invited to join LS Council members for an information session covering Lower School logistics and Lab in general. New students will enjoy a special orientation and activity with our Lower School counselors.


Third Grade Scavenger Hunt 

August 31, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., Blaine Hall  

The Lower School welcomes all 3rd grade families to tour Blaine Hall – find your classroom, meet teachers and socialize with fellow classmates.   LS Council members will be on hand in the Blaine Lobby to answer any questions you may have about the Lower School.  More details to follow.


Lower School Lunch 

August 31, 12 p.m., CafeLab 

Join new and returning Lower School families for lunch in CafeLab (bring your own lunch).  LS Council members will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.


First Day of School Bagels and Coffee 

September 5, 8 a.m., Blaine Lobby 

Enjoy bagels and coffee, sponsored by the Parents’ Association


Celebrate Lab’s New Outdoor Spaces

September 8, 3–4:30 p.m.

Join Lab families to dedicate Lab’s new outdoor classroom and the new Lower School playground. Remarks and ribbon-cutting at 3:30 p.m. Child-friendly treats will be served


Lower School Parent Night 

September 14, 5:30 p.m., Gordan Park Arts Hall 

Heavy appetizers and refreshments sponsored by the Parents’ Association

6 p.m.  Presentations begin


Third Grade and New Parent Coffee with Lower School Principal Sylvie Anglin 

September 20, 8:30 a.m., Blaine S201 

Parents new to Lab and all third grade parents have an opportunity to ask questions, meet other parents, and learn more about the Lower School
