Rain did not prevent nearly 1400 members of the Lab Community from celebrating Rites of May on May 20, 2017. Kenwood Mall and Kovler Gyms were awash in giant inflatables, carnival games, and cultural and creative booths, not to mention fantastic food and performances. The day was a wonderful expression of community and hope.
The Parents’ Association would like to thank its event chairs, Lynn Sasamoto, Tracey Quinn, and Tracy Coe for their extraordinary efforts, as well as Tria Smith for the joyous Maypole Dance and Parade. 150+ volunteers and performers made the day possible — including alumni and 54 Lower School, Middle School, and High School students. We also want to thank the many families who bought tickets for our High Jump and Charter School pen pal families; your generosity sponsored every single one of our guest attendees.
- If you lost an item, please check the Lower School Lost and Found, located in the vestibule behind the security desk that leads to the courtyard.
