On Thursday, January 14, students showed their school pride by wearing maroon, white, or other Lab tshirts, and cheering for the girls basketball teams. At the Historic Campus, the PA’s Lower School Council decorated the Blaine Lobby with posters and decorations to spur school spirit. Many students and their families attended the Girls’ Basketball games at the Historic Campus later that day, and cheered for their team. The PA provided popcorn, foam fingers and Thunderstix at the games.
The PA holds Fan Days to build community spirit, and to encourage the Lab community to cheer on the school’s sports teams. Future Fan Days are being planned to promote boys basketball, boys baseball, girls softball and more. If you have questions, or want to be help with Fan Days, please contact Karen Slimmon at email@example.com.
